Nola Tech delivered a medical website design project for Saleh Al Alawi Medical Complex in Al Shuqaiq, Jazan, Saudi Arabia, through a full redesign on WordPress and Elementor between July and August 2026. The new site presents the complex’s departments, doctors and offers with branding drawn from its logo, takes appointment requests straight to WhatsApp, and is connected to Google Tag Manager for measurement.

About the Client: Al Alawi Medical Complex

The client is a multi-specialty medical complex in Al Shuqaiq governorate in the Jazan region. Its services cover internal medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, dermatology, dentistry, ophthalmology and general medicine, along with a laboratory. The complex also reaches patients through its Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and Facebook accounts.

In a mid-sized city like Al Shuqaiq, patients compare nearby clinics on practical questions, and the website is where they expect to find answers before deciding. So the goal was not just an informational site, but a tool that helps patients reach the right department and request an appointment easily.

The Challenge: Patients Who Want Quick Answers on Their Phones

Nola Tech mapped out what patients need before booking, and what the complex was missing online:

  • Core patient questions: Is the specialty I need available? Who is the doctor? Do they accept my insurance? How do I book without waiting on the phone? If patients cannot find these answers quickly on mobile, they call somewhere else.
  • Inconsistent branding: the complex needed a site with a visual identity that matched its brand.
  • Unstructured appointment requests: relying on calls alone gave reception no consistent request format.
  • No measurement: there was no way to track visits and conversions.
  • A mobile-first audience: many patients arrive on their phones and from social media, so responsive design and quick WhatsApp contact were priorities on every page.

How Nola Tech Delivered the Medical Website Design

1. Branding drawn from the logo

Work began in July 2026 with a full redesign on WordPress and Elementor, using a responsive Arabic interface and a primary colour extracted from the complex’s logo so the site stays consistent with the brand.

2. A homepage that answers patient questions

  • A headline message: “Your family’s health in trusted, specialised hands.”
  • “Book your appointment now” and “Browse departments” buttons.
  • Badges for insurance acceptance and specialist staff.
  • The patient journey explained in four steps.

3. A dedicated page for each department

We designed eight department pages: internal medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, dermatology and laser, dentistry, ophthalmology and eye surgery, general medicine, and the laboratory. A medical team section shows six doctors and specialists by name and specialty, and an offers section presents three services with before-and-after discount prices.

Separate department pages let patients go straight to the specialty they need instead of scrolling a long page, and give each department a page that can grow with more content or be shared in campaigns and messages.

4. Service requests via WhatsApp

A service request form collects name, mobile number, department, preferred date and notes, and sends the request directly to the complex’s WhatsApp. Call and WhatsApp numbers also sit in the top bar and footer, so patients can reach any department or contact channel from any page.

5. FAQs and trust elements

A collapsible FAQ section answers six questions about appointments, insurance, specialties, booking, location and offers, and the footer shows Tamara and Tabby logos.

6. Measurement with Google Tag Manager

In August 2026 a Google Tag Manager container was connected to the site to track visits and contact events, laying the groundwork for measuring offers and campaigns.

The project combines Nola Tech’s website design and development with UI/UX design.

Tech Stack

  • WordPress: content management.
  • Elementor: responsive Arabic page design.
  • Google Tag Manager: visit and contact event tracking.
  • WhatsApp: appointment request channel.

Results: Patient Questions Answered on One Page

Figures from the live site, alawimedical.com, reviewed on October 12, 2026, and Nola Tech project notes (July and August 2026):

  • 8 medical departments with standalone pages.
  • 6 doctors and specialists shown by name and specialty.
  • 3 price offers advertised on the homepage.
  • 6 FAQs on appointments, insurance and location.

The complex now has a site that answers patients’ core questions: departments, doctors by name, insurance acceptance and the address in Al Shuqaiq. Appointment requests arrive in one consistent format with department and preferred date, via the form, WhatsApp or a call, which helps reception confirm bookings quickly. The advertised offers give the complex a promotional space it can refresh regularly, and Google Tag Manager makes it possible to measure their impact. You can visit the Al Alawi Medical Complex website to see it live.

Lessons for Medical Complexes and Clinics

  • Answer patient questions on the first screen: specialty, doctor, insurance and how to book are what decide a patient’s choice.
  • Show doctors by name: patients trust a named doctor with a listed specialty more than a logo.
  • Structure appointment requests: a form that captures department and preferred date saves reception time.
  • Measure from day one: connecting tracking early shows which offers and campaigns bring patients in.
  • Design for mobile: if your audience comes from social media, the mobile experience is the main experience.
  • Keep offers easy to update: a clear offers section gives you promotional space that changes with the season, without a redesign.
